The True Ancient Pakistani Bully Kutta
Saving the last few.....
My search took me more than three good years I saw and met some exceptional native breed dogs. But in my heart I was always looking for the pure "Ancient type Bully Kutta". During my quest for the ancient type I received so many false clues and claims. So many times I had travelled hundreds of Kilometers just because I had heard through travellers that at such and such place a dog that fits my description can be found. During these years I was almost every time at every turn dissappointed by the leads I was given by the people.
Few times I got lucky and got to see dogs that to me were ancient type, and on one occasion I was very close to being the owner of such a dog But luck was not on my side and before I could buy it the Ancient died at his owners place.
This was shattering news for me but I could not give up. I noticed that almost every ancient type i saw was old and I don't remember meeting many good quality Ancient type that were young. This fact made me conclude that I may well be meeting the last generation of this type. Hence my desire to revive the original and purest type of the White Bully Kutta got stronger than ever.
I kept on hoping to find a white ancient or a young ancient that may be the product of a recessive gene. Years passed by and the search was never ending.
Finally one day when I was in Southern Punjab I got a lead for the Ancient type. To my surprise I learned that the dog was taken form here to an area near where I lived. Without loosing any time me and my Brother Ejaz who was visiting me from Spain spent the entire day finding the village where the dog was supposed to be, At last we reached the place and we both could not believe our eyes.There he was all white with a Huge head and great Bone Structure, Deep and small sunken eyes, wrinkly face and a medium height of 30-31 Inches at the shoulder. His temperment was of a guard dog he started to growl when he first saw us. I could not hide my exicement, we both took out our cameras and started a photo shoot of the dog. Within no time we were negotiating a deal and 3 days later he was at our place. He needed to be fed well so that he could regain his strength. When I sent these pictures to Riz he went crazy even though he was on the side of the globe and together we thought a name for him. Now what could be better than Baba (Old Man) It suits him don,t you think so. Baba has been with us for almost 3 months now. He is stronger and ready to mate. I hope and pray to get his offspring so that I can be one step closer in realizing my dream of reviving the True Ancient WHITE Bully Kutta one day.
