Salaam
We have talked enough about bully kuttas but let me tell you a bit of about Gull terriers.Snipe is my semi-errect eared Gullterrier which my father bought from Kohat at the age of 7 months. Now Snipe is over 2 years.
We needed a dog which would not get used to strangers who would come to our place our 2nd day and snipe proved himself well for this pupose. Infact thinking about it he is sometimes a security concern as we are always scared to open him inside the court yard when the main outside door is open as there is always a risk that he may attack someone if he gets loose. On top of that he is like Hoddini the famous escapist as he always seems to take his collar off and get free. I have tried harnesess and as you can see in the video he has evn managed to partially take that off and was soon running free.
His attitude with other dogs is that he is agressive too them and has to be on the lead when other dogs are around. Last time while walking him he decided he will be the leader on the way home and managed to catch one of the nighbour hood dogs. By the time I had got there two of the back legs of the other dog were in his mouth and everyone trying to break his bite. We poured 2 buckets of water over his face and in the end put a rod in his mouth to set the other dog free.
In Peshawar gullterriers are the main pit dogs and are known for their stamina and speed. They are usaually one owner dogs and their blood is infused sometimes with bully kuttas to add viciousness and create the large pit gulldungs. They are mostly of white colour.
